PepUp Tech

In 2016 I decided that I wanted to focus on bringing more minorities into tech. I mentored a lot of people in the Austin Salesforce community, but
I wasn’t seeing very many Hispanics or African Americans coming to our community events. So I made the decision, that I was going to go out and find them.

Right around this time, Selina Suarez gave me a call and asked me if I wanted to work with her to bring more minorities into tech. To me, it was a no-brainer, there is strength
in numbers and she and I could accomplish more together than on our own. A month later Rebe de la Paz joined us and PepUp Tech was born. In the summer of 2017, Shonnah Hughes came on board, and the rest as they say, is history!
